What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Freedom Fellowship based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

All new believers should be water baptized as an act of obedience.
Matthew 28:19-20

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it.
Luke 11:13, Acts 4:31

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
John 5:28,29

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
I Peter 1:18,19

The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Corinthians 13:14

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
John 3:3-5

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
Galatians 5:16

The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
I Peter 2:24

Jesus is God, was of a virgin birth, sinless life, doer of miracles, atoning for humanity's sins in death, bodily resurrection and return in glory in the future.
Matthew 16:16; I Corinthians 15:3,4
